The space is mainly located along the Yongjiang River and key industrial parks, including Yongjiang Laboratories, new research universities, Ningbo Enterprise scientific research headquarters, Ningbo Software Park, etc., forming a scientific and innovation cluster area with compact space and connected functions.
The planned industrial land is about 27 square kilometers, including industrial land, logistics and storage land and some innovative industrial land. It is mainly located in the outer part of the Science and Technology Innovation Zone and distributed in clusters, including several specialized industrial parks, pilot incubation parks and logistics hub ports for sea and railway combined transport, providing solid industrial support for the science and Technology Innovation Zone.
The planned living space is about 40 square kilometers, including about 25 square kilometers of residential land, about 7 square kilometers of public service facility land, and about 8 square kilometers of commercial office land. It is mainly located in Xiaogang, Jiaochuan, Zhuang and other living areas, including residential community, science and innovation community, mixed community, supporting business and public service facilities such as culture, education, sports and health.

The planned ecological space is about 82 square kilometers, including about 16 square kilometers of urban park green space and about 66 square kilometers of mountain, water, forest, field and other land.
